Casale il Picchio is a beautiful property on the hills around Trasimeno Lake. It is composed by a vaste olive groves that produces a good biological olive oil and by a group of restored country houses that are reachable through a countryroad long about km.1,8.
The main country house is divided into 3 apartments in one of which the owners live; in the neighbours there are other two independent country houses.
In the property there are 2 swimming-pools (12mx6m each) with garden furniture and a tennis court (free use but with reservation).
The apartment Picchio 3, only in high season, may have the esclusive use of the pool in front of it with an extra charge of euro 300,00 per week (with previous reservation and to be paid locally).
The special offer price for max 6 persons, in low and middle season, is valid only for Picchio 1, Picchio 3 and Picchio 4. For the apt.Picchio 3 and Picchio 4 this offer includes the use of the living room and 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
From this farm it is easy to reach, on feet or by bike, the top of the hills from where there is an enchanting view overlooking the Trasimeno Lake.
The surroundings are also ideal for walks and excursions by bike.
The village of Magione is only kms.4 away and offers all services and some restaurants.
The apartments have been furnished in rustic elegant style: they are comfortable and have mosquito nets in the windows of the living areas.
In common use: private parking, washing machine (to be paid locally), woodburning oven and barbecue.
Only small pets are allowed on request.
A cot, a babybed and an highchair are also available.
