HOW TO REACH UMBRIA

To visit Umbria you need a car: most of our properties set in isolated position, out from villages and towns and public services are not guaranteed.

Car rental companies in Umbria have their main offices at Perugia airport "San Francesco di Assisi" and in Perugia central railway station.

  • - E45 road from Cesena to Rome
  • - A1 motorway from Bologna to Rome, exit Valdichiana/Bettolle/Perugia
• From Southern Italy:
  • - S.S. ADRIATICA N. 77 road from Macerata to Foligno
  • - A1 motorway from Roma to Firenze, exit Orte  

 

TO REACH UMBRIA BY PLANE:

In Umbria there is only one airport: "S.Francesco di Assisi-Perugia airport".

But Umbria can be easily reached using also other airports (please check all details directly on the airports websites):

Rome and Florence are easy to be reached from Umbria by train, to avoid the big traffic there is using a car.

Most important Railway Stations are in Perugia, Foligno, Chiusi and Terontola.

There is a daily bus service from Umbria to/from Rome town centre, Rome airports and Florence town centre.
